How age is actually counted
Your age in years is the number of full years between your birth date and today. The tricky part is the leftover months and days, because months have different lengths. This calculator counts complete years first, then complete months, then the remaining days — the same way you would say "32 years, 4 months and 9 days."
Why total days can surprise you
Alongside the usual years-and-months figure, the calculator shows your age in total months and total days. People are often struck by the day count — a 30-year-old has been alive for nearly 11,000 days. It is the same age expressed in a different, slightly mind-bending unit.
Counting toward the next birthday
The "My age now" tab also shows how long until your next birthday. It finds the next time your birth month and day come around and counts the days, which is handy for planning, reminders, or simple curiosity.

Does it account for leap years?
Yes. Because it works with real calendar dates rather than a fixed 365-day year, leap days are included automatically.
